Drouin

A self-taught sculptor based in La Gaude, Roger Drouin transforms metal into movement. After a first artistic life in the 70s, he returned to sculpture in 2006 with a profoundly singular approach: to refine the gesture, to capture emotion in its most essential form.

His work revolves around a strong concept – "The Essentials".
Each piece comes from a single line laser-cut from a steel sheet. This foundational gesture becomes silhouette, vibration, presence. The cut itself gives birth to two entities: 
– The Major Line, the main sculpture, 
– and The Silhouette, its light, equally expressive echo.

Musicians, athletes, embracing couples, or figures in motion...
His creations evoke suspended moments, between power and fragility. Whether small or monumental, they inhabit spaces with precision and poetry.
