Claude Gilli – Iconic Figure of the Nice School in Permanent Exhibition at Pali Art Décoration
We are proud to highlight Claude Gilli, a major artist of the contemporary French scene, whose works are now part of our permanent exhibition in the showroom.
Born in Nice in 1938, Claude Gilli is one of the essential representatives of the famous Nice School, alongside artists such as Arman, Ben or César. Influenced by popular culture, the South, and narrative art, he developed a colorful, powerful body of work deeply rooted in Mediterranean identity.
Between Pop Art and Southern Poetry
Using various materials (cut wood, paint, resin), Claude Gilli brings to life compositions where the Côte d'Azur, the sea, the body, and everyday symbols become supports for emotion and collective memory.
At Pali Art Décoration, we have chosen to permanently present a selection of his works in a dedicated space. This is our way of keeping his legacy alive and inviting our visitors to discover or rediscover an artist who managed to capture the soul of the South with boldness and sensitivity.
Come and discover Claude Gilli in our showroom in La Gaude
The exhibition is freely accessible during our opening hours.
We will be happy to welcome you to share this wonderful artistic adventure with you.
